«The biggest achievement in the world can be the establishment of a
democratic country and transparent political field,» the deputy
president of «Nig-Aparan» union Tigran Petrosyants said today. He sees
«pure» elections as the way to any elections, when a person goes to the
elections and votes «in accordance with his will».
Nevertheless, T. Petrosyants told the journalists that their company is
going to back up the Armenian Republican Party at the elections for
Yerevan self-government bodies.
«We want to have a carrier of the kind of state way of thinking who will
lead tomorrow's Yerevan in a better, stronger, more democratic way,» T.
Patrosyants said.
According to «Nig-Aparan» deputy president, our newly-independent state
facing a war situation, still needs «a strong hand and a person who will
manage to become a unifier.»
T. Petrosyants underscored that «he will welcome any of the political powers to win in the elections.»
